I'm a primarily SWF artist, so tumblr banning all sexual content wouldn't effect me at all, but I think that's more because I don't really post on tumblr, I found it more effort than it was worth and had very little payoff. Many of my friends mentioned that a lot of the artists migrated here to NG which caught me by surprise, I only ever came here to play flash games back when I was in high school so it never really registered in my brain that this was a place you could post your art and stuff. Welp, here I am! I'm enjoying this place quite a lot; accurate feedback, lots of artist support, and I can upload just about anything I make including my old shitty animations if I wanted. A nice place indeed.
